This category is open to BIM practitioners, Building, Design, Specialist Companies or Specialist Services Contractors who demonstrate excellence in the utilisation of BIM methodology and tools, improving deliverables on your aspect of a construction or engineering project in any project category. The project or initiative can be completed or ongoing, in Ireland or abroad.

Open to Civil Engineering Contractors who demonstrate best practice in the delivery of a project in the areas of transport, energy, civil engineering, waste, water, groundworks, utilities or pipelines completed within the last 2 years before the entry submission deadline. The project can be a new build or a substantial extension of an existing build in Ireland or abroad. Contractors can for example enter a project within each subgroup, utilities, groundworks and transport.

This category is open to Product Manufacturers or Suppliers operating in Ireland and supplying the construction industry. Products can be manufactured/developed in Ireland or abroad, but must be available for use on the Irish market (including Digital products and SaaS).

These can include, but are not limited to, products that: transform and enhance the construction industry, streamline design and installation, optimise the use of equipment and resources, drive sustainability and carbon reduction, and ultimately deliver smarter outcomes that exceed end-user expectations.

Products must have been launched, innovatively re-engineered, or an innovation applied to the product within the last three years before the entry submission deadline.

This category is open to Construction Project Managers, managing projects for Main, MEP, Specialist Contractors, Project Delivery and PM Firms working in Ireland, who demonstrate excellence in the delivery using case study projects. Projects can be in Ireland or abroad and completed within the last 2 years before the entry submission deadline. Finalists in this category will be invited to interview with the Judges.

This category is open to Building/Management Contractors who demonstrate best practice in the construction of a commercial building. The project can be any type of commercial building including but not limited to offices, retail units, or mixed use. The project can be a new build or a substantial extension of an existing build in Ireland or abroad. The project must be completed within the last 2 years before the entry submission deadline.

This category is open to Building and Management Contractors who demonstrate best practice in the construction of an education or healthcare project completed within the last 2 years before the entry submission deadline. Any type of public or private building may be entered, including but not limited to hospitals and primary care facilities, preschool, primary, secondary or third level. The project can be new build or a substantial extension to an existing build.

This category is open to Building and Management Contractors, Project Delivery Specialists, and Specialist Contractors who demonstrate best practice in the refurbishment (including adaptation and extension), retrofit, or fit-out of buildings completed within the two years prior to the entry submission deadline. Projects may include any type of building, including but not limited to residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and public facilities, and may be located in Ireland or abroad.

This category is open for entry to Building / Management Contractors, Civil Engineering Contractors, Project Delivery Specialists, Specialist M&E Contractors or Specialist Contractors whose initiative has enhanced the safety, health and overall wellbeing of their workforce within the past 2 years. This award will recognise companies that promote the importance of safety, health and employee wellbeing and provide a progressive workplace that positively promotes the construction sector as an attractive industry to work in.

This category is open to Home Builders or Building Contractors, Management Contractors building directly or working in partnership with local authorities, housing agencies, developers or NFP charities who demonstrate best practice in the construction of a private or social, single or multi-unit residential project, student accommodation, completed within the last 2 years before the entry submission deadline in Ireland or abroad. 1 Private and 1 Social scheme may be entered per contractor. The project can be a new build, substantial extension, retrofit or refurbishment to an existing build.

This category recognises education, training and skills development programmes that support Ireland’s construction industry. It is open to educators, contractors, construction consultants and professional practices, and training providers delivering programmes specifically for the construction sector.

Eligible entries may include apprenticeships, traineeships, third-level construction courses, CPD, employer training academies, structured graduate programmes and industry-led upskilling or reskilling initiatives. Programmes may be delivered in person, online, in the workplace or through a blended approach.

Joint entries between construction employers and education or training providers are welcomed. All entries must demonstrate a clear construction-industry focus.
