Make-A-Wish Ireland has been creating life-changing wishes for children with serious illnesses since 1992.

The charity believes that a wish has a lasting impact on the life of a wish child and their families. Its vision is that every child living with a life-threatening illness in Ireland is granted a wish as part of their treatment.

Every day the charity receives applications from families in need of help, for wishes which allow children to escape routines of hospital visits and treatments, replacing them with carefree, life-changing experiences. As of today, Make-A-Wish Ireland has 189 children on its waiting list. It has never turned a child in need away. Wishes are not for the rich, nor are they for the poor. They are for those who need them most, sick children fighting life-threatening illnesses.
